Interested in caring for or restoring natural habitat on your farm?  Okanagan Similkameen Stewardship partners with landowners and farmers through the Wildlife Habitat Steward program, and provides them with personalized advice and technical support in habitat enhancement projects, management plans, and assistance with best management practices for wildlife on their properties.

Being a Wildlife Habitat Steward does not mean you can't "use" your land.  Stewards still maintain their agricultural, tourism and other land use practices on their properties while also caring for wildlife habitat and implementing best management practices for wildlife.

Learn more about the Wildlife Habitat Steward program, and check out some of the 130+ landowners in the Okanagan and Similkameen who are already participating in the program: www.osstewardship.ca/stewards
